Blue Legacy owns a one-acre campus in Port Orchard, Washington, on the edge of Banner Forest Heritage Park, a 635-acre conversation woodland on the Olympic Peninsula. Our campus is kept as natural as possible while still maintaining safe parking and passage throughout the wooded trails and courtyards.
There are six studio spaces on campus with two more planned awaiting construction. The current studio spaces are:
The Red Door Studio
800-square feet with 15-foot ceilings, private bathroom, three separate rooms and a catwalk. This studio is under long-term lease.
The Green Door Studio
120-square feet with an 8x8x8-foot five-sided chroma shell that actors can step into for full surround “green screen” effects. Access to the campus’ public bathroom is included. Rental rate is $150 for up to ten consecutive hours and includes two lighting trees. To check availability or reserve this studio, contact us.
The Black Door Studio
96-square feet. This windowless “cabin” in the woods can be used as a set or as a recording studio. It is entirely black on the outside with a recessed door that blends into one wall but inside the studio is entirely white – walls, floor, and even the exposed load-bearing beams of the ceiling. Access to the campus’ public bathroom is included. Rental rate is $150 for up to ten consecutive hours. To check availability or reserve this studio, contact us.
The White Door Studio
20-square feet. A recording booth studio with room for one person at a time, this studio is optimal for recording audio books or other spoken word projects or for recording vocals and more compact instruments. This studio is under long-term lease.
The Grey Door Studio
450-square feet with two rooms, a private bathroom, and a kitchenette. This studio space is perfect for meetings, workshops, or creating a “studio apartment” set. This studio is under long-term lease.
The Blue Door Studio
400-square feet. This studio is currently occupied by Blue Legacy on a full-time basis with office hours 360 days a year from 2pm to 9pm.
